Can someone please let me know what im doing wrong .
Do i need something downloaded for the xp to stick ?

You need to leave the game when you ARE host, for example, you are in an xp lobby, you killed yourself 4 time and then the host leaves. Then you become host and leave then sign out when you're at the black loading screen.
