before when it was someone elses lobby all i did was when i became host back out log out log back in and prestige now if i back out log out and backinim still level 1 and i have a wireless connection to i can't unblug the ethernet cable please respond fast someone!

This what you mean, is only working if you join on Xp Lobbys.
But if you are hosting through a modded Gamesave, so there is 2ways to stick the XP.

The 1st Way(cable):
After you get Level 50, back out and during the Host-Migration put the cable out from PS3 and put it in again.
This was the 1st way.

If you have a wireless connection then do this.
The 2nd way was found by myself 100%(WLAN):
So for example you are hosting now ok, after you get Level 50, back out from the game, don't go offline.
At the second game where you hosting, after you get Level 50, back out and go to main menu, then sign out from PSN and sign in again.
That's the way to stick it. If you do this every 2nd match you get no Problems to stick the XP.
