Thats like the first thing every haxor tried, obviously it was encrypted, then they had to figure out the reason it was incrypted.

Basically it was a checksum that always changed if you edited the game save, we had to then revert the checksum to it's original state, then came the hacks, till a patch...

And here we are now.
