Im thinking about buying this game if you can still hack it, just for something to do because ive been really bored lately.

I think you can with the PS3 Patch Blocker. I tried it the other night, i got signed in etc, but everytime i searched for a game.. i Was host and noone could join

I think they can yes. But you just need different methods of bypassing I think.
