i like the acog scope for my M40A3 because i can do fast sniping and its faster than the normal scope.

Ya its the best one with ACOG, but ACOG is also good with the 50. cal but dont put it on the draknov or the M21.

yes but the regular scope takes to long to aim in, and isn't good for short to long range unless u camp.

Acog- is best for short medium and sometimes long range. Now if u see a sniper long rang on acog ur chances of hitting him b4 he kills u is pretty low and u probably wouldn't spot him so fast in the first place.

Regular scope- Good at Medium to long range, why not short range well it's just harder and u most usually have to have high sensitivity to get a guy. This scope is beasty cuz it has the dang steady button lol.Most of u guyz r probably like ,but if u practice without steadying it u will get it ,but will u get it as fast as u did when u steadied it?

M40A3 is best 1 shot kill sniper on Cod4 ( opinion )
