Well to connect your ps3 to pc its a new feature in remote play you can connect now its currently only works on a certain make of pc but another way is other-os you need to have a old version ps3 with the patch when other os was still on there then install linux and theres a linux application that can extract the type of file that the update comes in so you need to decrypt your hard-drive on your ps3 to see what links the downloads come from & then you extract the patch because im guesing you want this for cod4 and you edit the patch files and you can reinstall the patch with hacks pre installed into this but i think thats a bit to far fetched for you so you might have to wait untill a public release of the Hack itself and if you can do this i in no way meant to undermine you and good luck on the hack
