(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I don't play MW2 any more and have gone back to COD4 and I was wondering how many people play online but it doesn't tell you on PS3 but I have heard that on 360 it does. So do any 360 players know how many people play online on COD4 now?

on the 360 there is on average about 17,000 - 25,000 in my oppinion. Its 9:30 pm here and there is 20,000 on so maybe more during the day. There is probably more on PS3 since hunter probably hasn't told anyone how to do modded lobbies. Not sure if much of this is true, but hope it helps.

Thanks for the info but I believe there are less people on COD4 on PS3, I'm guessing just over 1000 on a week day because I constantly keep getting put in the same lobbies every time a leave one. But this could be due to the time zone where I live. It may have a lot more player at the weekend.

i know what your talking about, and that happens on the 360 as well. like say im in a hardcore search game where everyone is killing eachother, so i leave then look for anolther hardcore search game. and the it puts me in the same one. what i do to avoid this is just play a different game type. but there are sometimes less then 1000 people in a playlist.

on xbox it says like 25000 like the guy above me somewhere said , but only like 3500 each of they are actually playing i think.. same with ps3 probably

Not sure but a lot of people play on the PS3 easily find games.
