Do you see how that guy strafes? Well that is how I strafe. If anyone here strafes like that and is really use to having the complete control then try 10 sensitivity. I strafe on 10 and go really far because it gives you more control. You just have to strafe like the computer. Choose how slow you think to need to go for the strafe and do it. It works really good for me. I can do the crash bounce first try like that. Hope this helps!

how does running a certain way help you jump farther?

Running left or right must be the part that helps you. Like turning left or right with your right analog stick.

Also, if you are doing a bounce that is far away like crash bounce I suggest holding left because it makes you go farther. Along with that, if your are facing far to the right then while in mid air slowly turn to your left and sometimes this helps. I don't know how but it works food for me.

It's official! I don't strafe like that anymore. Now I use 4 sensitivity and don't use my index and thumb, only my thumb. It is a lot better for me. I can hit the crash bounce non-oldschool easy with it. 10 sensitivity is still fun to use for other strafes so you can show off.

10 sensitivity = crap strafe

For a good strafe change your sensitivity to 4 or 5
