A half year ago i bought CoD4 for the ps3, but when i liked to play online it says a error; "Downloading game settings".. all the time.
So i bring back my game en just asked for a new one because i thougt it was a bad CD or whatever.. & I got the same problem again. And private match freezed my PS3..

I think CoD4 is really nice, and I really want that game but have's IW/Activision fixed ther servers? Is it now possible for everyone to play the game online?

I've heard of this problem as well and read its a server problem, has nothing to do with your PS3/Disc. Try disabling UPnP and see if that works.

Easy solution bro: Turn Router off, then 30 seconds later, turn back on. It will fix it.

I already have done that part, but it didn't work (for me, half year ago)
But if it works what ur saying, have u do it all the time..? Or do you need to do it 1 time?
