i've deleted the game data, didn't solve it
deleted savegame, didn't solve it
even on BYPASS it won't let me

i can go into splitscreen or LAN party, but as soon as i click play online it just freezes..

& in splitscreen, when i load a game, it freezes halfway through

anyone any ideas ?

its a subscriber thingy so contact your ISP and remove it that is if you are a subscriber

no it is really a digital subscriber line
thats how i connect to the internet and you are max speed is about 20MB and thats about 3000$ a year *atleast here in kuwait*
and what i use is a 2MB and get 6x at night 1am-7am and the price is about 468$ a year and again thats maybe only here in kuwait

This happens every time i get on Cod4 with a different patch, try this...when you get online to the online menu, where it says 'find match' click on that and it will say 'ownloading Game Settings...' let that load *it will take a while for it to download* when it gets done you will see the game types...then you can go play private match, split screen, etc...

cause kuwait doesn't have a lot of people who use internet
*btw i am livin in the country-side as they say so idk about the capital and stuff*

It's your disc, it hapened to me too, I couldn't load certain maps. Try cleaning your disc. If you get stuck at "Downloading Game Settings..." reset your router.

plug you're ehternet cable out when u load the game then plug it back in when it loads up and go to multiplayer worked for me.or u disc might be ****ed.

Sorry no fix here.. just nice to here that it might be the servers and not my account.

format your ps3, if that doesnt work, try signing in to another account, if that doesnt work, buy a new Cod4 disc.
