i've deleted the game data, didn't solve it
deleted savegame, didn't solve it
even on BYPASS it won't let me

i can go into splitscreen or LAN party, but as soon as i click play online it just freezes..

& in splitscreen, when i load a game, it freezes halfway through

anyone any ideas ?

You're running it off the disc normally.. right?

Edit: I've also heard if you've changed your tropusr.dat trying to hack and use other peoples trophies and get platinums it can make games not work 100% properly.

Make Sure Your Disk Is Clean And No Big Scratches ?!

I had that problem awile back, but it solved it self, so I can't help you with what to do, but maybe just play other games and soon it will work

try loading the game up on another account on your ps3
find out whether the problem lies with your account or with something else

Karoolus have you tried any other game for online?
or are you using back up?
if not it must be your game disc

oh i forgot to mention i had this problem on Mw2
i have done a Full format and it worked *over 3 hours format*

Yes straight of the disc..
only thing i ever changed was patch_mp.ff (& redownloaded original again)



the game is BRAND NEW, i played a few legit online matches & haven't played since..

I have the same problem here, I can't play online, and the multiplayer menu is very laggy.



Call of Duty 4 doesn't have any trophy...

I had this too, open your NAT it worked for me

It does on xBox though so if you go through the game using filemanager you can see that the trophies are there. They are just disabled.


Emm loads of my maps dont load in any mode (split screen/lan/online) Crossfire and pipeline dont load for me and i think there are a few more but they just freeze halfway through the load screen. :O
