(BTW, Im new at hacking) Everytime I put a patch on the game, I go to privite match and it freezes before i even hit start match. WTF!? Its done that with every patch ive used so far, ive tryed about 6 different patches and nothing works.

Do a barrel roll!
are you putting the patches in the right directory?
try deleting and reinstalling the COD4 patch
