All hackers on call of duty 4 are getting a head start.

"IW" Fails 1 hacker say's but 402 updates say that this is a hacker race.
He quote's "lol" This was a test to see who will rank up the first and see who's challenges would be done fast enough.
Infinity Ward is fighting back with Ban's from the game in the next update.
When you download the game settings your console will be banned from the Infinity Ward server's MW2/COD4.
Most hackers would cry (Quote "6 year olds")
Me i was smart and waited to see what infinity ward had to say.

Think i smell BS , ive heard they releasing new patch for mw2 yea for all the CFW users but as for cod4 doubt it , game is how many years old now they have their money made on that , if they were gonna fix it it would of been a long time ago. Look at the leaderboards they fkd. i cant talk though lol ive a few acc up near the top @_@

This could be true tbh , because yesterday i went on cod4 was put back to level 1, today i went back on it im back to prestige 11 55 with everything.. , but this would be absolute bs for people who randomly got into a modded lobby got challenges n prestige & knew nothing about it o.o

Sony has updated their official blog regarding a security update coming to the PS3. You can find their original post below:
Security Update for PS3
This is an official Sony update, not the one we are creating, which I mentioned earlier. However, I want to make it clear we will still be doing our own updates for Modern Warfare 2 for additional security updates that are specific to our game. I would also like to note that we plan to duplicate this update on other applicable platforms as well.

Update 1: I just left a security meeting with the coders here at Infinity Ward where we discussed a lot of solutions. I feel good about the meeting, but of course I can't go into detail on the possible solutions we discussed as we don't want to give out any information that could potentially hinder the security any further.
Once I have more information, I will post it here.
The key factor I want you to know is, that while any update takes time, we are looking to make the process as quick as possible and nothing is being left unattended.
Our main focus right now is on:
1) Preventing hackers from affecting legitimate players.
2) Addressing users who have already been affected.

Sony has recently acknowledged a breach in security on the PS3 which has resulted in the hardware and its games to become exposed to exploits and hacks. Modern Warfare 2 is no exception to this security exploit and we understand that some of you have experienced problems with stats and other issues associated with this.
Games rely on the security of the encryption on the platforms they're played on, therefore; updates to the game through patches will not resolve this problem completely, unless the security exploit itself is resolved on the platform. However, that doesn't mean we're not going to look into every option available to us. Regretfully, Call of Duty games are receiving the bulk of the hacker's attention, due to its high player counts and popularity. However, the number of legitimate players severely outweighs the bad apples.
If you are concerned about playing with players who are hacking, I encourage you to play exclusively with friends by utilizing the party or private match options in Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty 4 to avoid such players as much as possible until this issue is resolved by Sony.
At this time, we do not have the ability to restore or adjust individual stats.
Let me assure you, while we are very reliant on Sony updating their firmware and security to address the core problem of this issue. We are looking at EVERY option available to us to help any user affected.
This only applies to legacy games such as Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2. In the future we plan to adjust our approach to not rely solely on platform security and reduce the ability for this to happen in our games, as has already been displayed by the work Treyarch has done on Call of Duty: Black Ops to prevent similar measures
