i have 2 ps3's, one on 3.55cfw, and the other i use for online 3.56
i have looked everywhere and i just learning about this jb stuff

so what i would like is for someone to please help, and to teach me how to get a patch working on cod4 (cl, promod, or whatever)

i would appreciate it alot,

ps. i have managed to replace the patch file on the 3.55cfw but i would like to take the patches online.

kk so u got the patch working?? if so then good all u do is data transfer how?


1.Turn off, and unplug the power cable from both systems (PS3s).
2.Plug in an Ethernet cable from one PS3 to the other.
3.Plug the power cable back into each system, and turn them on.
4.Go to 'Settings -> System Settings -> Data Transfer Utility'
5.The instructions on screen will guide you through the transfer process, and it should be fairly straight forward.
6.Make sure to transfer the contents of the Jail-broken PS3 onto the Online PS3, not the other way around. We want to send the patch to the online system so we can use it online.Transfer from v3.41 PS3 to v3.55 PS3 (or whatever the current firmware is)
7.After the transfer is complete, turn both systems off.
8.Plug the Ethernet cable back into your router, or use wireless (however you connect your PS3 to the internet).
9.Turn on your Online PS3 (current firmware system)
10.Start up Co COD4. Go to Play Online (sign in if you haven't already).
11.Start the match.
12.You should have your modded patch.

well i have tried that method, and even tried to search why the data transfer process wouldnt work,
so far ive come up with nothing, the only thing that is different is the fw
and according to the ps3 website, aslong as its 3.40 (dont quote me) or above it shouldnt matter if its different fw

so any other ideas ??

that only works with 3.41 not 3.55 CFW soz

well disable internet and Media Sharing or it won't work and could u tell me what error ur getting?

EDIT: oh yeah and u do know that theres now a 3 Step Way to get online with 3.55 CFW
