Now straight to the topic: has anyone made and attempt to create "detox patch/hack/mod"? The idea is that whenever player joins a game with that mod hosted, his configs/mods ect. are set to original cod4 settings. Because my and some other clans can't get over a fact that people play leagues and ladders after coming back straight from i.e. promod lobby. It really kills competitive gaming, seeing other guy ran faster, throw frags further, have his footsteps quieter and greater penetration damage than you. And I'm actually asking this because I see that these stay regardless of what the host is and backing out to sp doesn't do the job. And please, don't answer like "get your own promod"...

Every single person who has been in the modded lobby needs to go to SP not just the host.

Thanks for near-instant answer. I know this is the way but just not a complete one. As I've realised some "infections" (or however you call modded settings outside the save file) do stay even after restarting the game. Surely there is way of getting rid of them since there is the way of changing it to something else in the first place. But is such solution existing yet?

And another quick question. If somebody can point me to exact topic, because I don't seem to find a clean cod4 patch with simple host force mod (let's say if I wanted to play public but wouldn't like to join cl/promod lobby). For PS3 obviously. Thanks in advance

welcome. I can try. I know all the dvaars so what i'll do when i get time is collect all the dvars set them to default and it infects people with normal dvars so say they got g_speed "999" in mine i would change that to default so they get infected with normal speed :p. it would take a while to collect all the default dvars. pm for a talk
