NOW READ THIS CAREFULLY:

Choose your perks BEFORE setting up the gun.
In my opinion, put stopping power and deep impact/steady aim.
The first perk doesn't matter, as it will be replaced with the grip.

Next, choose your gun, and select the grip (and confirm it).
***VERY IMPORTANT***
Do NOT select a camo, press B (for xbox 360) to go back to the screen for which attachment you can have.
Now up in the right hand corner of your screen, you will see the timer counting down until the game starts... wait for this to hit 0 (ZERO), and select the red-dot sight. You can hit a camo if you're quick enough, but that won't matter.
You'll know if you did it right when you select your class, and see that there is no first perk... yet you have your red-dot sight.

This works, as I have an RPD class set up with this.

Try it out before you knock it saying it doesn't work. (It may take 2-3 tries... but I got it on my first... hell, even my 50 year old dad did it. Yes, he's a badass and plays COD4)


So to sum it up...
Select perks
Select gun
Put on grip (and confirm)
Go BACK from the camo screen, to the attachment screen
At ZERO select red-dot sight
VOILA!


ALSO, IF YOU MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE CLASS, YOU WILL HAVE TO DO THE GLITCH OVER AGAIN!

This does NOT work

All it does is removes perk one and puts on red dot sight, it does not work on the LMG's the recoil is still exactly the same

I tested it with all 3 classes, one with red dot sight, one with grip, one with this combo that he said 'red dot AND supposedly grip' by shooting a whole clip into a wall, from the same distance. The red dot normal and this combo had EXACTLY the same pattern of recoil, while the grip class had a small little circle of recoil

THIS DOES NOT WORK

So basically all it had done is taken off perk one and put on red dot sight... NO decrease in recoil or increase in accuracy whatsoever

You can do test this yourself, just get any assualt rifle, put on grenade launcher, click back where you select the camoflague, then go on red dot sight, You still only have the red dot sight and NO GRENADE LAUNCHER

Don't say any bullcrap that you have to do it when it says 'time till match starts: 0' because i did it like that, just a millisecond before it started, i tried it just as it turned to 0, and somehwere between the game starting and it turning to 0 and it still got the same as when i did it in a private match lobby
