I want people to state the problems with cod4. Obviously I need some technical answers. I will state the main problems with cod4, and how they should fix them.

PATCH: People now have discovered patch editing, and installing them with their jailbroken ps3's. IW should fix the patch script like MW2 so edited patches wont work, including the CFG in a new update.

BYPASS: People bypass patches to access older servers. IW should somehow close these servers (1.0/1.1/1.2/1.3)' like Black Ops, to avoid them using "statset" commands which **** up the leaderboard (Dvar/Cvar codes), also stops them from using modded gametypes to boost their score (Splitscreen Boosting)/(Ranked Match Boosting).

OTHER: People who bypass Cod4, usually go into "splitscreen" to use "statset" codes to set the statistic info, onto the leaderboard. IW should update their Playlist, so when you connect to Cod4, everything gets reset before you connect. This avoids any stats being set onto the new server.

RESET: Reset the leaderboards!

FIX: Fix minor glitches and improve spawning.



If i get enough infomation, I am creating a team to protest a petition to fix these errors in Cod4, I am giving Robert Bowling a list of fixes.

They already said that Cod4 is last, after they fix MW2. They cannot do anything now because, consoles like sony, are having security problems. And you wrong, I posted this in the general discussion section. Modding and Hacking, must be talked about in the Modding and hacking section. Hacking and modding a console, should always be fixed. Have fun while it last, but I paid for what I paid for, so did a million people. Hacking/Modding is not gaming, its test developing. If you like hacking and modding, you should go and create your own game, with these simular features.

The people who will disagree are 13-16 year old children who are not so good at the game, because they are still young and you are feeding them something new. This is why the game rated as an 17+ ( 18 )

The majority of people who are 17+ / 18+ HATE people who hack and ruin there play, when you become older you take care more of your possessions.

oh, and have just put the CoD4 PC maps in CoD4 System update and some skins. Pweeeetttty Pweetty Pwease

This will never happen, yes they did it for MW2 but that is IW's latest COD installment.

Im sure cod 4 is alot older than 3 years.

The game came out in november the 5th, 2007. Which is 54 months ago, thats 4 years and 5 months.

I doubt they will ever fix Cod4 because they are making MW3 and they want as many players to move foward with the new games..
If they were to fix cod4 alot of players would most likely stay with cod4 and not move on which would not make Mw3 the best selling or mostly played game.But i do hope they do sumthing to fix it, i hope for the best and if they did fix it that would be awsome.

the game isnt that bad, and i don't see how bypassing would be any problem because its too late to be fixed, and bypassing wont affect the people that arn't bypassed.

I feel that with preventing the bypasses and the patches, the gameplay should return to (somewhat) normal. I hope they do fix the leaderboards too! it would be the best thing in the world imo if they fixed this game. Playing it now makes me miss the old days
