Well's there's pros and cons to things like this
Pros: Get your score up, and you get a golden gun temporarily.
Cons: Takes forever, you lose them when you prestige, and your kill death slowly drops (or goes up if your under a 1.0)

I would say yes as you will eventually loose everything when you presige and you will have to do all those challenges again, if you thinking about gold weapons stay on the prestige you are on now.

Go to the cross, then get them. Best idea, thats what ive done

or just don't go into prestige and have ur golden guns, thats what many people do :O
