heres a quick question, if you dont have a jailbroken ps3 then whats the point in releasing something that you dont even know if it works, pretty useless if you ask me, you should stick too bypassing, there you can test without having a jailbroken ps3
people may enjoy doing this, i have a jailbreak but i don't use it.. i test my things on pc

ok i got a suggestion for you, i tell everyone who ask's me how to mod, to look at somebody elses mod/hack and edit it bit by bit, e.g. first start by just changing the colour of the text pack it together if it works, do the next step by adding 1 code and keep going like that, it may get boring but you will eventually get it aswell most people like you just jump into trying to beat others, i also suggest you use the original editing way "packzip" and "offzip" i still use this method now even though there are many ff viewers or whatever (its way more reliable)

you can use PcFreak30's FF Manager, it basically IS offzip & packzip..
i'll try to find the download link again (with COD4 patch_mp.ff profile included

your probably doing it wrong here are the steps:
1- go to cmd
2- put packzip, offzip and a folder called whatever, mines called stuff into the same folder on your desktop.
3- type in cmd offzip.exe -a -z -15 patch_mp.ff nameOfFolder 0
4- locate your files and get them open in hex editor
5- copy your .gsc's into a clean file
6- open the new file in notepad++ and edit it.
7- once done copy your file back into the .gsc you got it from if its a split file go to your file and press ctrl & e and type in the length of the original start of the file and type it into the length of your new .gsc and copy that into the original .gsc and go back to your edited .gsc and copy from the end of the highlighted stuff to the bottom of the file and copy that into the end of the original .gsc.
8- now pack it together using this script: packzip.exe -o 0x000numberOfFileHere -w -15 000SameNumberHere.dat patch_mp.ff
If you didnt get most of that there is a tut under cod4 exploits and hacks.
