My latest project is to get my way around in spoofing the EBOOT_MP, in Cod4.
This means you will soon be able to get godmode, ufo, in 1.4 if possible.

IW on the latest EBOOT_MP (1.4) have taken out these commands, which stops them from being used.
We cannot write these commands back in as the Gpad0 files are patched in the EBOOT.Bin.

NOTE. The EBOOT_MP has to be the original one from the game, not from an updated patch.

Here are the two files, if anyone knows how to use IDA and the unself tools. Could you please message me for help.

i think i have a prettty good idea, and i know people who can also do this with me who have successfully done it for other games

I've used IDA to for black ops on patch 1.2 i think..
but yeah, it would be BEAST if you could get those commands back in

thinking about this, i have a question:

would it be possible to start the game using default_mp.elf instead of .self ?
if yes, we could have it circumvent the eboot.bin & let it use our own (an older one ? ^^) but spoof it to 1.40 ?

edit2: i looked into it, opening up the eboot.bin will be quite a lot of work, but it'll be worth it will start once i get home from work today

Thanks, did you unself this youself? If you can, could you unself the 1.4 eboot aswell and send it in a file. I need to compare each eboot, to pin point stuff out.

It has to be a debug EBOOT to work, so unless you can find the debug .pkg for cod4 you're out of luck :\

It has to be a debug if your using a retail eboot from a patch update. The only EBOOT you can edit is the 1.0 eboot which is installed on the disc.
