In onPlayerSpawned(), add this:

    self setClientDvar( "thereisacow", "1337" );

Then put dev mode in your menu with these dvars:

    self setClientDvar( "developer", "1" );

self setClientDvar( "developer_script", "1" );

This is tested and works, it does NOT freeze your console.

No one is taking this thread seriously, this actually works. For whatever reason, once dev mode is enabled you can't be host or the game won't start.

I know about the dev code freezing but im just questioning self setClientDvar( "thereisacow", "1337" );

thereisacow 1337 is a real dvar!

There is a cow yes its a real dvar and im sure its used on the PC

the only people that isnt taking this serious is noobs who dont what too do with this thanks alot for this

you can allready activate dev mode with out the cow dvar, but if your host or you start a private match you get stuck in the map loading screen, showing awaiting challenge

Yea that happens with the cow dvar. Normally it just freezes when you activate the developer dvar.

thereisacow just allows cmds in single player on PC.

It isn't even needed on PS3, and devmode has always worked but freezes when you start a game because PS3 got a shitty port without devmode pretty much.
