delete everything except 0002cbcc.dat and patch_mp.ff and packzip and offzip
open up 0002cbcc.dat
CTRL E
start offset 1AC7
length 9E0A
save as _weapons.gsc
open _weapons.gsc with notepad edit and save
then open hex editor make length 9E0A
open up 0002cbcc.dat
CTRL E
start offset 1AC7
length 9E0A
copy everything from _weapons.gsc
packzip -o 0x0002cbcc -w -15 0002cbcc.dat patch_mp.ff

Why cant we just place the 0002cbcc directly on notepad and edit from there? why do we need hex editor ? ... i tried changing nothing but the special message and a few colors yet i get black screen when in multiplayer.. the special message in 0002cbcc had the same amount of spaces and number of letters yet still black screen..... any help i will greatly appreciate it. thanks
