How can I convey to patch and the ps3

the ufo fix is in the playlists not an up date that is why you can use it in private,
createfx just wont work unless u get into the servers anr remove the fix i has nothing todo with any update

But that's the point, if you hack the patch and trick CoD4 servers into thinking you're playing on an earlier version (before the hotfix) but you're actually playing on the 1.3 patch, then you could use UFO... and more

not because no one else will be using that patch. so ull only be able to play against someone who does the same aka like the bypass method.

But maybe, if we edited the 1.3 with parts from the 1.2 that allow commands in GPAD0_MP online, but not the part that identifies the patch as 1.3 it could work. Actually, the encryption of the pkg would prevent that...

it isnt a version, its the fact its PLAYLISTS
when you search cage match dont get pipeline and when you search ground war you dont get shipment
this is because the have setup the playlists thatway nothing to do with an update or te version you are running

what i am trying to say is their was no patch so it wouldnt change the gamedata for the game or the savedata or what version you are running, the only way you can get ufo to work is if some one changed the play list and removed what they changed to stop UFO

or you find other cod thatwill do the same thing

I do see what you mean- but think about people who bypass. The playlists stay as they were on that patch. There's no hardcore HQ for example. So if you trick the system into thinking it's running a different patch, you'll get the playlists for that patch. So say I replace the 1.3 with the 1.2, I would get 1.2 playlists and therefore no hotfix. But like Ingie pointed out a few posts back, it would be the same as bypassing because you could only play with others on the 1.2 patch.

but what im saying to that is you cant trick the system to run 1.30 before because it still 1.30 now it was the playlist that changed not the firmware
so the only way itll work is to bypass to 1.20


look at it like this

Remove 1.30
redownload 1.30, dont go onlie with it
so now it hasnt got any hotfixes or playlists
as soon as you go online itll download game settings, (PLaylist, Comment of the day,)
so as soonas you go onlie with 1.30 itll change the playlists

now the reason y 1.2 playlists dont change, well they do just HQ stuff isnt installed to the menu
