(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); heres the easiest way to get host on cod4 99% of the time.
(please insure you already have a decent internet connection and have hosted at least a few games before you try this as it will just end if your connection is bad.)

1. get ready to click on the game mode of your choice.
2. open up speedtest.net & chose a server close to where you live.
3. click begin speed test and it will begin doing a download test.
4. after the download test, the upload test will begin. AS SOON as the upload test starts search for the game mode of your choice.
5. takes about 5 seconds then you should have host.

if you dont get host then try one more time and if not your connection probably is not fast enough to host on cod4, or maybe your connections having a bad day.

also works if you have an iphone! just download the speedtest app and do the same as above but skip step 2. this saves most time as people are not always next to their pc's

well if you do get host you can lock the lobby. as soon as you get host sign out and sign back in as fast as you can. now only people that you invite can get into that game. so just think you and your friends doing head shots on hard search. REP ME

My connection's always having a bad day, except for off-peak times :p, i can never ususally host between 12 and 10
