(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Welcome to my script making tut! I have noticed that there is allot of new users on Nextgenupdate and i would love to see them make some really cool scripts ok well.. lets get to it!


Ok 1st step starting the script!
Ok every script has a name example nukemod() you always have to have () that after your script name!
Step:2 After you have your name you press the enter button. Now you put this { that opens your script!
Step:3 Now you insurt your mods I will have some listed below you could use or you could use your own! ok this is how your script should look so far!

{

Step:4 Adding the mods are pretty easy just put it in don't space it or any thing special just put it right under the { and then put another mod under the mod that is already there that easy! example

self iprintlnbold ("Nuke incomming");
level.Juggernaut = spawn( "script_model", (self.origin+(0,-10,0)) );
level.Juggernaut setModel( "com_plasticcase_beige_big" );
self clearLowerMessage();
if(distance(self.origin, level.Juggernaut.origin) <40)
self setLowerMessage("^1Press [{+usereload}] To Ignite Nuke!");
if(self usebuttonpressed())
self thread Britts_more_realistic_Nuke();
self clearLowerMessage();
}
^This is not a real working script this is just a example! tutorials

Step:5 after you have put in your mods close the script with a } then your done you have successfully made a script!



(PRECACHING TUTORIAL)
Step:1 When your patch_mp.ff is open look for the gsc weapons.gsc or globalogic.gsc!
Step:2 Now scroll down till you see other precaches (Not that much scrolling in weapons.gsc but more scrolling in globallogic.gsc)
Step:3 Now paste your precache on top of the other precaches now you have successfully precached your mod!



(Making mods work when you spawn)
Step:1 Get the script name and copy it!
Step:2 Psat it in notepad and add self thread before your mod name and a ; at the end it should look like this
    
self thread Nukemod();

Step:3 Open patch_mp.ff
Step:4 Look in your patch_mp.ff for the weapons.gsc or globalogic.gsc scroll down till you see onplayerspwned now just make a space and past your self thread along with the others then you done now that mod will happen when you first spawn!

Fair enough you made a lot of time in making this but not many noobs come here to learn how to script. I come here to see whats new ect :p But good thread for trying

lol i just made this for new users and even old users so they can get started making script and finally get good Smile

You Forgot One Thing That I Used To Get A Syntax For Then Later Figured Out, If You Used A for(;Winky Winky loop, the u must have 2 brackets at the end of the script

You know whats funny i kinda gave a hint by accident of my new script becouse it says britts_more_realistic_nuke i diddnt release that tilllast night and i released this like 2 days ago lmao!

this is a great tut but im a complete noob at coding maybe 1 day i'll be good enough to make my own patch :fa:
