... this also happend 2 me & i was realy annoyed! so if that happens just turn ur ps3 of by the switch at the back of ur ps3 and try again and it will eventualy work!
it may not work the 1st time but keep trying and u should get in

Errrrrrrrr wrong our ps3 will **** up if you turn it off from the back you should never turn it off from he back

Well it does mess up your ps3 but not much but there are no other ways to turn it off since your ps3 will just freeze and someone close this thread no questions to be asked no answers to be given

thats the biggest bull ever its just rumours i always turn my ps3 off from back and had same ps3 since it came out and never had a problem with it... i've never heard of anybody's ps3 breaking because they turn off from back.

Actually it's not. It's a fact that it can cause problems to your ps3.
Just because it usually doesn't isn't proof on something. So many people here jump to what they think is right when they don't know anything factually.
Anyway this doesn't negate the fact that there's a simpler way of doing this, using the PS button and signing in through the XBR.
