While it is uploading Search for a game on COD4.
Once you are host, cancel the upload.

Start downloading a nice sized file on your computer or load the worlds longest youtube video. Anything to slow your connection down. If you're using a T1 line for internet or anything that has a lot of bandwidth space then this wouldn't help you.
