It could be the codes or your disc so yeah try other codes.

when the game is first loaded mine does this just wait for a couple secs for it to load

aha i know what youre talking about i have had the same error before this is not to do with codes its to do with your cod4 patch in game data utility.

to fix:

go to game data utility delete your cod4 patch and reinstall it (if already deleted e.g. bypass just reinstall it).

thats what i did and it works fine now even on bypass
