1. Start your PS3.

2. Get 60 or more friends. *NOTE* Go to 10 different games of GroundWar and add everyone on your players met list. THEY HAVE TO ACCEPT YOUR FRIENDS REQUEST.

3. After you have gotten 60+ friends, Restart your PS3. Go to Game Utility Data and delete the CoD4 Patch.

4. Make sure you have the right hacks copied from your USB to your PS3.

5. Start CoD4 and press O/Cancel on the update message.

6. Skip the cinematics.

7. Go to Multiplayer.

8. Press the PS Button on your CONTROLLER and sign in through XBM.

9. Keep signing in. In 5-10 or 10-15 tries, (Depending on how fast your connection is) it will eventually show the Account Management Icon instead of the XBM.

This will work for BOTH Wireless and Wired Connections. As far as hacks go for the bypass, There is posts all over THIS forum on hacks. If you have ANY further questions, You may PM me or Reply on this thread.

U probs live in U.K like me , DONT try it at night , our crap broadbands fail us , i use virgin and can only bypass on my 10th P account that has 80 + friends at night ,

try the morning , it works perfectly fine

Question for the owner of this tread
what if it dont work 15 times while SIGNING IN THROUGH XMB ??? , does this mean ur way fails ????
coz i try randomness and it works after like 15 goes , and do i need to sign in and out of ps3 2 times before i start up cod 4 ???

coz alot of other posts are saying you do, and they say sign in / out of xmb while cinematics load , PLEASE HELP

Try unplugging your router for 2-3 minutes as HSx9 stated earlier in the thread. Then try again. If it doesn't work your connection isn't good enough for it.

Yh i do this, and it does work . . . . . but i was just askign bout the rest, and ur way dont work , i try it and fails me
