SatanicAmerican had this in one of his patches a while ago I'll be honest, it looks a bit too cheesy for my liking, and it does get annoying after about 1 minute :p Still, a lot of people like it so good job :y:

I will, already working on it.. i got scrollbar, selected option in color, the pulsefx option, now i'm writing something that'll count the characters in the option, so it can tell the [ ] where to go :p i can't use SetText to add it to the option, or i'll be using double the strings ==> overflow..
so i guess i'll have to do it the hard way



tbh that's where i saw it & i thought it looked pretty cool.. that was before i used it though.. it gets kinda annoying after a few times scrolling through the menu :p

yeah if you're using the overflow fix ( the one with \n ) then all the options on your screen are actually 1 string, so it'll do your entire menu everytime.. you have to use a normal menu system, one that would overflow.. just use amanda's fix & it should be no problem




i think it looks awesome .... for a minute or so.. then it really does get annoying, yeah but it made me write something that i don't think is seen before (if it is, pls link me, i'd like to compare to what i'm doing )
fully customizable menu: font, colors, type of scroll effect, position on screen, different layouts, make it for you only, host can force it on the lobby.. settings are stored, so you don't have to redo everything everytime you start a new game, or even shut down your ps3

but that is just still the idea, it's a work in progress, but i'm getting somewhere by now i'll keep this thread updated, i'll PM you if i need the title changed
