This site is spot on anyway on topic do I have to use the default button/stick layout to activate the 18 player hardcore hack? I use a layout called 'tactical flipped' as I can't get on with the default set-up.

It doesn't seem to work when I change the layout so just wondering if I can do anything about it?

I'm only interested in the 18 player HC hack, I'm using the script in the gametwister thread for your info.

It should still have the 18 man hack, and you would also have tactical controls, or if you don't, you can change it and it wont wont affect it.
