I mean there's no point downloading all those files for nothing really is there? I mean for all we know it could be a virus or a trojan, maybe even a worm. Now, I'd like to put a stop to this. Look for hacks to test out and all I see is flooded sections with no help to anyone.

Ok, now the best and probably the only one that ever worked for me, is the basic bypass...

No downloads, no Network changing, I mean the last time I did that I forgot my WEP Key and I got screwed.

How to do it (Im reffering to this after you put the hacks onto ps3 and delete data):
1. Sign In, then cancel the upload...
Do that a bunch of times and surely you will get in... I give up because it can get boring :p

Hpw about you try this method which actually does work 100%
1.Delete Patch
2.Delete Gamesave
3.Load you hacked Gamesave (copy it 2 times)
4.Load COD4
5.Hit "O" when it asks to download the patch
6.hit your PS BUTTON
7.Sign in
8.As soon as you hit sign in hold your "X" button and hit the PS BUTTON once (1time)
9.Repeat steps 7 and 8 if need be

Yeah thats why mine is titled "xTaKeYoUDoWn-'s Bypass Method. Works on 1.40" Because it may work for some, may not for others.
