i doubt it will work because my friend had the same problem when he tried to bypass mw2 from the ps store

You cannot do it on a PSN version of the game since the update is hard coded in the actual game. Sorry but if you want to bypass on Cod4 you will need to get a disc version. Please next time post in the right section.
