No, just install 1.40 on 3.55, and replace with modded patch Smile

no you don't just replace the patch_mp.ff with the one you want to use

it asks 4 a update on my 4.25 one when i go on cod 4 when i got the 1.40 on it already ?

update it on cod4 on your 3.55 it will update just you cant go online then replace the patch_mp.ff with a modded one and there you go data transfer the 3.55 to your other ps3 and it should work.
