Okay, an elevator is anywhere where you can not stand under but can crouch under as well as anywhere you can not crouch under but can go prone under.
The goal of an elevator is to get between the barrier of where you can and can not stand which will pull you up to the top of the barrier.
To start walk up to the spot you want to do the elevator and press against it while standing. Crouch then turn 45 degrees to 30 degrees to the right or left which ever you like. Side step left if you chose to turn right and side step right if you chose to turn left until you cannot stand. THE SMALLEST MOVEMENTS POSSIBLE ARE THE KEY TO ELEVATORS!!
Once you can not stand then you should almost straighten out from the 45 to 30 degrees turn but not quite. You should be turned about 2 degrees to the right or left depending on which way you choose to move. If you turned right and side stepped left then you must move right while pressing stand. If you turned left and side stepped right then you must move left while pressing stand.
Once you can stand you must crouch and side step the other direction and try to hit the elevator all while trying to stand. If you can not stand anymore then move back in the opposite direction. Move back and fourth until you float up. This will take time and patience at first.
Be careful not to move forward or back ward just move left and right.
Best guns for this is an MP5 with Red Dot or a Desert Eagle because they are straight on the top to you can follow a straight line.
Best places to start for elevators is Bloc, Chinatown and Pipeline. Once you get these try Strike and Countdown.
