Something new I did. When you go and press play online it downloads game settings for about 10 seconds and then either lets you join a game or does the gay downloading game settings for and hour. Well when you press multilayer don't press play online right away.

Wait about 15 to 20 seconds and then press it. You should not have to download game settings at all. I haven't had to wait for weeks its amazing.
