Nothing ruins a game of Hardcore Search and Destroy or Hardcore Team Deathmatch faster than an excessive team killer being a douche. So, all this talk of new playlists we’ve been doing around the studio recently (with the help of my raw hatred of team killers) got me to thinking about some Hardcore playlists variations we could possibly introduce when we do the playlist update.

What do you guys think of having the option of playing your favorite Hardcore playlists standard (HC S&Awesome face, HC TDM) in addition to Hardcore (Friendly Fire Disabled). Essentailly, standard Hardcore rules with limited hud, increased weapon damage, etc. minus the dread of team killers?

I mention it, because I think it’d be a nice option to have once we introduce Hardcore HQ and give those who love Hardcore but hate team killers a haven for some honest hardcore gameplay. So what’s the verdict? Would you like the option to play Hardcore Standard and Hardcore (No Friendly Fire)?

Note the word, option. Meaning, you can still play the way it is now (with friend fire on) or have an additional option to play without friend fire. I’m not proposing change all of Hardcore. I’m saying give an option for Hardcore lite in addition to the normal hardcore playlists there already are.

i think there should be a way to report people on cod4. so say someone's teamkilling a moderator is sent to that game to spectate that person and if they kill anyone on there team purposely they should be kicked from the game and banned for a bit.

Ya dandy, that would be impossible. Maybe having instead of the time penalty, being kicked?

yea but its not there in the realm of possibility, do u honestly think infinity ward will spend money and waste time to hire people to play games and moderate and team killing is on meaning u allow the risk for team killers how would even a mod know if the team kill wasnt an accident the person could be new to the game and not know u shouldnt play hardcore if u dont like that well i would like the option of both though for hardcore

This would be a great-I like the fact that you could choose which one you want to play-the friendly fire option would be the shit-no more team killn-sweet;

especially if u accidentally kill someone in s and d then they can't respawn and u lose points so it would be a great idea for the option of having no team killing

Do a barrel roll!
friendy fire off would be good caue you wont get the people shooting you when you like 1 kill of and airstrike. but it more realistic with friendly fire on. so choosing would be good also i seen people you make accounts just for team killing which is perfetic.
