Put whatever attachments u want on it then stop at the weapon skin selection. Put your cursor over gold (only if you have gold unlocked), then push o to get back to the create a class screen. Make a new class and put the M4 carbine, if you go to the skin selection screen, you will see the Gold still selected at the bottom then it will disappear real fast. If you do what i said above and click x(ps3) real fast can you select it?

I highly doubt it. I would have to try, but if it was that easy someone would have found out by now.

That would be really cool if you could do this but I've got to agree with everybody else on this subject. If it was possible it would've been found a long time ago. Keep trying it though and hopefully you have some success!

Can anyone try it? I dont have any gold guns.

this will not work simply because there is a file off all the guns and what their skin looks like but there is not one for a gold m4 carbine.
