Sorry to say i am an xbox man myself but i slept over my friend hous the other day...Ovcourse he has a ps3(wow they are amazing)
Whilst i was there i came to grips with modding the ps3, i can now do it inside and out.

Firstly you need to download a file with all the dvar codes on, (witch will be given out when you add and rep)

Then you need to delete you save for cod 4 and copy the new one in

Go into cod 4...if the ps3 asks you if you want to update just press o

Then go into split screen and sign in.

The screen should say signing in, AS SOON AS it CHANGES tap o as fast as you can....

If you do it right it should come up with account managment...(you wont get it first time)

Wallah, you hae bypassed and no you can mod all you want.

Note:You can only play on cage match as you are on a hackers server
