I actually have some evidence to support this. You may think I'm crazy, but I might just change your minds.

First of all, without even thinking about CoD4 in general, what do you think is better? Do you think that something that has a lot more luck involved takes more skill, or do you think that something that has less luck have more skill? The less luck being scoping. With scoping, you don't need luck. You see the enemy in your scope and you shoot. 0 luck involved. But no-scoping. Well you see an enemy and you look towards them, pull the trigger, and hope that your "technique" worked and hit him.

Now most no-scopers use the ACOG M40A3. Put the instant 1 hit kill with the full human body, that lowers the skill. Now when you're scoping, you don't aim for people's feet or hands, you aim for body or head. But when you're no-scoping, the game isn't aiming for you, so perhaps you get lucky and kill a guy by shooting his toe or his left pinky. Thus greatening the size of the target.

Scoping= torso+head
No-scoping= WHOLE BODY

I mean, the whole reason why sniping takes more skill than say, a P90, is because it's accuracy. The more accurate, the more you have to take your time and make sure you hit the more skill it takes. Just randomly firing towards the enemy from a distance only makes you lucky.

"Oh, but Fragdaddy, I practice with my bored friends on no-scoping. We think the G-shot works but we are just really so stupid to not realize that it's just a coincidence". Please, even if those techniques even worked, well first of all people would be getting no-scopes whenever they wanted and it wouldn't be such a great thing. But even if it did work, it would only barely heighten your chances of getting the random shot.

"Oh, but people like zzirGrizz always get the shot using their methods". Do they? Do they really? Or do they record all day, devoting their day to just randomly no-scoping? It doesn't take that long to get enough no-scopes to fill up a vid, without using any methods. Trust me.

I'm not saying no-scoping is bad, it's entertaining, believe me. But don't devote whole montages to it. It does get boring watching the same no-scope from a different angle on a different map.

You can show skill in scoping. I'm not saying you have to, but watch one of my vids. It shows quite a few ways to get nice-looking scopes. Balance your montages with no-scopes and scopes. It show that you're the best all-around sniper. I've had my time. I used to be able to snipe in any way, map or scope & rifle. But I've stopped playing a while ago. Even my last montage was just a collection of some of my best recorded snipes.

I'm just telling those who are still making montages, or just new to them, that it does matter what goes into your montages. And the reason zzirGrizz got so popular was (well first he was sponsored by a website that makes movies) because no-scoping was new at the time. No one new what to think about it. So, just come up with something new.

Yeah it's fun to do because it's rewarding and you get to tease the person you killed.

yh using grizz's technique does'nt mean you'll hit everytime. no scoping is pure patience the technique just makes it a bit easier like unstopables new montage must have taken him ages that looks like a good two weeks of recording.

If anyone has seen grizzes montages he doesnt even use the Gshot that often, wht i like best about his montages are how good he is with acog on his sniper, now that takes the most skill to be able to do jump shots and shoot people through a tiny gap in the wall.

I find no scoping more satisfying than sniping. If you had a long range snipe you are like 'yeah that was good pretty normal though', if you had a long range sniping distance hip shot you are like, 'woooaahaahhhhahoahhahahah'.

But to be honest i dont think gshot really works, its mainly luck and most of the skill involved is getting the enemy in the centre of the cross hair as quickly as possible.

Using a scope will net you more kills 99% of the time, and when Grizz did his G-shot method, the friend wasn't even shooting him. If you try a long-range noscope, you're just giving your position away and looking like a crappy showoff. Join the Army and try no-scoping with, say, an M107 .50 cal to show off.

well first of all i think no 1 would go in the army to no scope cuz they would be smoked down so fast by either a sniper or advancing troops lol cuz if ur doin no scopin u wouldnt hit on first try witch gives the enemy time to kill u and u wouldnt want tht to happen lol so u would never do it in the first place and ur commander would probably be like wtf too lol. Also if u did ever no scope in real life i think it would be alot alot alot easier then this game mybye similar to halo???? Depends cuz sniper are heavy guns if u can run around with it ya u could do it but in prone hiding behind a bush in camo it would be harder but u wouldnt be seen i guess idk lol.

Edit= Also when i make my montages ya it takes me long to get shots and stuff but i wouldnt say like 2 weeks to get the shots i acctually got the headshot callteral no scope and the no scope after tht 1 callteral in the same day and a bunch of other shots too u will likely if ur good get all the footage u need in 3-7 days i think mine took about 6 and then it took me 4eva to decide what song and editing it with stuff using sound effects from the premium section and stuff like dat and i still did a pretty good job especially with timing the shots to equal the good part or the part where the guy says sumthin in the song i also had a hard time cuz i had to go to school so.....but in the end i finally got through it all. Go W/\R and all the no scopers tht kno me and coby_24 ( xX_WAR_SNIPER_Xx ) me and him will continue makin montages and u will see just how many good shots me and coby get which is alot especially him but he never got it recorded lmao

I belive sniping does take skill but so does no scoping if you use a technique.

A technique that has yet to be proven that it works. I'm sure if Grizz told everybody that he put butter on his screen, and staple a picture of spongebob to your controller, everyone would say that works.
