Call of Duty 5: World at War is said to be a huge hit and many people are looking foward to splash out cash to get it. Here's a few things which might prove my point ...

• More people are achieving 10th Prestige, rank 55.
  
• Some are just staying 55.
  
• Everyone who would want the game would have bought it by now.
  
• Plans for Call of Duty 5 and a trailer has been released.
  
• NGU will soon make a thread on CoD5.
  
• Many people are finding it a routine as nothing changes.
  
• Other games are being released and are proving popular.
  

So, will Call of Duty 4 just end up as 'a game we had'?

cod4 will not be over for a few more years. the trailers nice but u never kno, those things might not be part of the game

Call of Duty: World at War is not officially claimed to be COD5. You see, if it was COD5 it would be something like, "Call of Duty: Future Warfare:" CODWAW(World at War) is sort of a like a special edition type of COD. So it's if you want to get it.

Yeah I understand, like GTA series have San Andreas and then GTA IV.

Well from other forums, people are not liking the fact that COD is going back in time and would like to stick to the present so COD4 will still have it's time during the new era of COD, but if COD6 is back to the present then COD4 will die off for sure, that is if they ever make a COD6.

i still gonna be hanging to cod4 until activision makes a diff cod like future or something.

I'm sure that the amount of people playing COD 4 will stay around 30,000 players online for a while to come. Call of duty 4 has done extremely well, considering it was released in November and is still the main game played and being sold at newly released prices.
The chances are, are that people will start liking World at War, forgetting the doubts which they had. So it's likely a lot of users will be switching.

Unless it's another BF:Bad Company?
