well I can indeed let you know this is true.
(Note:You still appear on the radar but the gun is sient when you firse)
So how do you do it?
Well You have your sniper out.
First off throw (Toss) your special grenade away weither it be a flash or smoke.
Now when you shoot at your target(enemy)
Hold L2 while you shoot (R1)
Have been tested on PS3 only as of yet.
Your gun will appear silent.
Sometimes as you do it your gun sounds normal but others will hear as silent.
somtimes you can see it is silent also.
Happy silent sniping. Note you still show up on uav but you still can use this on hardcore aswell.
This is an infinate thing so you can use all the time (every shot)|

to clear up ALL comfusion BAS_TURD's trick is that ppl HEAR your sniper as silent meaning it makes no noise when it shoots plus if u wanna act like the sniper has a silencer on it, play on hardcore becuz there is no radar except for uav meaning ur shots wont be seen OR heard. if u add uav jammer on hardcore ur sniper can act like a invisible class XD happy ghosting

You do know that when you fire a weapon without a silencer, you appear on the radar, regardless of UAV jammer.. right?

Okay, weird. Ill have to test it, seems legit but not sure.
