(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will use a new collection of technology equating to what Treyarch is calling the "Black Ops 2 engine" - but it still contains core code from the traditional Call of Duty engine, upgrading what went before with Black Ops, according to studio boss Mark Lamia." heres the link to the article.

Might not be completely different but could have small significant differences.

this is the same thing they said about MW3. They just change the name of the engine trying to fool us.

Of course the engine is being updated, you can see the difference betwenn MW1 and MW3, but it isn't a big difference :proboscis:
I believe they are going to do the same thing, just change the name and tell us it's a new game engine :proboscis:

3arc making a new game engine? LOL. They'll just replace where it says InfinityWard to Treyarch.

Like A.....
Just to let you know they have never made there own engine, the current engine has just been updated from COD4 onwards.

The COD4 engine was just a moderfied ID Tech 3 engine.

So to clartify were playing on an engine made in 1999

It has been modified and updated fair enough but it has never been purposly made / built from scratch since 1999 so thats bloody old...
