Fully playable jets in Black Ops 2.
Bringing you another leak from the July issue of GamesMaster UK. This time we focus on the Black Ops 2 campaign, highlighting the FA-38 fighter jet, that players will be able to fly in Black Ops 2 during a mission set in Los Angeles.
When the presidential convoy is attacked en route to Downtown LA, David Mason a member of the President's protection detail and son of Alex Mason from Black Ops, is tasked with escorting the President to a bunker located deep below the Westin Bonaventure hotel. Along the way Mason wipes out waves of attack drones
including the massive tank-like CLAW(Cognitive Land Assault Weapon). Once the POTUS is safe underground, Mason makes his way to a grounded FA-38 jet.
He takes off vertically and weaves between the futuristic skyscrapers of downtown LA, hunting down the bogeys. Much like the Hind mission from Black Ops,
only this time it's played out over a burning city so detailed that it is going to push the limits of the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Unlike the Black Ops mission, Mason is given full control of the fighter jet, ensuring intense dogfights and dynamic gameplay. The FA-38 is equipped with an arsenal of sky burster missiles that Mason uses to clear the skies of incoming attack drones.
