(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Studio Head at Treyarch details some of the improvements the team is making when it comes to Call of Duty: Black Ops II’s multiplayer matchmaking system.

“On the multiplayer front, I think one of the things we’re paying attention to is that there’s a lot of very experienced COD multiplayer gamers who are very good at Prestige-ing,” Lamia told Official PSM UK in a recent interview. He continued, “they want to play and compete with people, and to find and play with their friends more easily. We’re listening to that.” This is one of the points of feedback the team has been taking into consideration when it comes to matchmaking options in Black Ops II’s multiplayer.

“We also hear from people who aren’t as adept or as skilled in multiplayer that they’d like to be able to compete or have a way to play where it’s maybe not as difficult to compete at times – so if they have a chance to build up their skill sets then they’ll compete – so we’re actually working to satisfy a broader range of both.” It sounds like Treyarch will be focusing on giving those players of similar skill levels improved ways to play together – allowing vets to keep the competition up with each other, while giving newcomers a chance to improve their skills in a more suitable environment.

After all, Lamia mentions, “we also think the second most fun way to play COD, besides winning, is almost winning. We want to make more of those experiences, too, because those really close matches can be very satisfying as well.” On top of that, Treyarch also believes “that COD is incredibly fun to play with your friends or with somebody else online. And we think we can help people find and make that connection in the game through our matchmaking system – we want to help people do that.”

What do you guys think about this?

If they do this I hope they do this right there are multiple methods that could allow this to be successful.

Option 1: Bring back boot camp
Option 2: Let them learn to play in combat training
Option 3: Integrate an ELO system into the game

I am sure there are some other things they could do to make it a fair balance but if noobs only play with noobs, they will have a much harder time to escape the pack and learn to excel. Playing people that are better than you isn't always fun but if you are an attentive player you will learn from losing. You will notice their playstyle and adjust in order to be a more successful.

Plus I like to destroy noobs! lol

We will see who the actual good players are. People like xcal who has series of like 20 back to back games in a session that never fails to dominate will shine.

Cake is a lie
That would lead to more rage quits. Bad players arw the ones who get abused yet stay. Decent to ok players will quit once you start kicking ass or once they see they can't dominate.

That isn't a fair argument. Every thing isn't equal. You might go 50-5 against splitscreen players and I could go 30-10. Essentially you would have taken advantage of bad players more than I did which doesn't make us equal... Or easy sluts in college, you think the fat broke guy is getting laid as easily as the slimmer guy with morw social skills? No matter how easy or hard something is people aren't generally equal in taking advantage...

Silver star! ^^ Back on topic; yeah people would definitely rage quit. I don't see them implementing this because "pub stomping" is a fundamental part of CoD. If you want fair "competition", do game battles. Maybe it'll be a playlist, I don't see them implementing this game-wide because it just wouldn't be CoD anymore... At least that's my opinion. You have to play against good players to get BETTER that's common sense...

While I agree cod is never equal connection, players, teammates ect.

If you can post 20 straight games and do great in all of them that speaks for itself. He has multiple series where he does this.
Essentially if your one of the top tier players on the game you should pull your YouTube worthy games still. They may not be as prevalent as now but it shouldn't slow much.
If a YouTube commentator needs to be in a lobby full of retards to post a decent game then maybe he should look into a new hobby.
Example Whiteboy ragequits constantly if you look up hiss W/l ratio it is beyond pitiful, he keeps doing that till he finds a group of baddies Xcal goes game by game and shows you what he does.

Xcal is the only reg gun user I am subbed to period. He was basically the first cod commentator and hes damn good at the game.

Im not up Xcals ass I just used him as a example because it was easy.
