(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); May be obvious(to decent players) but judging by the amount of threads I've seen and amount of frustration I have just from the small amount of solo play, I shall make this. Once the game releases, I'll update with Black Ops 2 specific issues don'ts. Oh and this is slightly long so reading while you're pooping or something Gobble

Dos

-PLAY IN A PARTY. If you're pretty decent you can get kills playing solo or with one other person but you'll lose quite a bit. Playing in a party insures you'll have guys who communicate, can deal with campers and don't waste time shooting at helicopters with silenced Dragonovs.

-ADJUST. This is the second biggest thing to increase the fun and reward of killing campers and winning. Stop trying to quick scope if the enemies are camping. Stop trying to use shotguns on big maps. If the enemy is all spy plane spamming or spy plane camping(underrated use of spy planes)use Ghost and move or use counter spy plane. You have at least 5 custom classes, so when something isn't working switch.

-HAVE A STRATEGY. What separates success and failure isn't who camps or "killwhores" or uses "overpowered" weapons. It's those that have a strategy. It's easy to just say that anybody can be good with Ghost and a Silenced weapon but although that is a powerful combination it doesn't promise anything. Most rushers are nothing more than guys running around, throwing random nades and pressing buttons. The other most common COD players are the scary bastards crouched, slowly moving around the map in fear or camping. They are easy to kill usually though. Know which flags are most advantageous. Don't be that guy camping the A flag that leads to getting spawn trapped. Don't be that guy who shoots down 7 airplanes but gets 2 actual kills.

-Be a WINNING objective player. I have said before I think the term "objective" player is like calling a fat girl "nice". The inherent purpose of team based games should be to win anyway. Winning when you have a tense clan battle you know how to use smoke, clear camp spots and time killstreak use in an effort to capture flags. However, if you're winning Domination 150-80, there is no reason to be trying to triple cap unless you have a party of about 7 really good rushers of course. Also if you're winning by 30+ in kill confirmed, you can ease up on tags. You'll get the win, and get kills. Killwhoring doesn't hurt team based games nearly as much as the guys trying to quick scope and using riot shields. Play with people who know how to play the game modes. Play with guys not afraid to have a bad game as long as they win. However, make sure you play with guys that don't make the game unnecessarily more difficult. Like I mentioned in another thread. Black Ops 2 doesn't want to reward "objective" players, they want to reward casual players who struggle with getting killstreaks.

-KNOW HOW TO USE THE WEAPONS. You don't have to camp with LMGS or Sniper rifles but running around the map and tight corners with those weapons like they are SMGS is a recipe for disaster. LMGS have the slowest ADS of all weapons usually and the fire rates aren't that fast. They are made for medium to long range combat and shooting through things. And stop putting Thermal sights and hamr scopes on SMGS. If you snipe, be a helpful sniper. Sniping enemies off objectives and such. If the enemy sucks you can get away with certain things. But in an intense 180-185 domination match, you might wanna put down the crossbow and help out.

-Be aggressive. This is where good rushing would come into play. Contrary to popular belief most legit campers don't get very many kills. Sitting in one spot doesn't yield many kills unless it's a spawn trap of course or unless the enemy are idiotic revenge whores. Use cover to your advantage. Don't be scared to move around the map. However, don't think going 10-30 is okay just because you were moving the entire time. I'm happy Support is gone at least. Trust me when I tell you that rarely is camping going to yield you lots of kills against an organized team.

-Don't play with splitscreens. Unless the enemy has them too. If you're on a team with say two splitscreen parties and the enemy team has none or is a clan, you will probably lose. Gift on opposition, curse on your team.

Thanks. I like to show the other side of the COD community. The side that in between the rage, we smell the roses lol. Besides COD games are annoying as hell when you play alone. Campers and overpowered weapons aren't the games biggest issues. It's having green arrows on your team. MW3 solo was a 5/10 game at best. In a party of at least 4 it's a 7.5/10

Nice post most people have different play styles that works for them. Someone could play defensive and stay in one area of the map and go like 40-2. If your playing aggressive rushing into their spawn you can do really good but that depends on the skill level of people your playing against.

Know your maps!

Know where spawn points are and where majority of people like to go. Also on point with split screeners. I back out of the room if I get those two on my team Not Happy or Sad

What's funny is I am almost the opposite style of rager like most.

People who make all these "nerf this gun " or "make it so campers automatically die" threads make me laugh.

Most of them probably play solo. Why blame the guy on the enemy team for camping with Ghost instead of the splitscreens going a combined 5-40 on your team?

The majority of COD community complaints can be nullified by all the things I mentioned.

Exactly. Most people who consider themselves "rushers" really aren't. A lot if people think aimlessly running around with zero spawn knowledge and poor reflexes is rushing and anything else is camping. Luckily BO2 doesn't give Support as a reward for bad play. Splitscreens have single-handedly raised my kdr .50 and increased win% but 20 lol. It's like boosting.
