Or is Dead Silence actually somewhat useful? How loud/soft is DS when someone is using Awareness? I'm talking about in S& by the way.

BUMP - Now with the Simply Game thing and the servers being online, a lot more people should have the game and at least tried this combo out? Or any of the perks separately? Any info from anyone?

awareness is unlocked at lvl 50 i think so i'll have to level up some more i guess..btw i cant hear anything with my headset..ive got turtle beaches px5 but i dont even hear footsteps when the enemy is like 1metre away from me , im not even joking (

just tested it and its crap! footsteps are stupidly hard to hear, with or without awareness. if someone is running dead silence, you cant hear them at all, even if you have awareness on. i would say dead silence wins, and awarenes does not counter it; but the reality (for the moment) is that dead silence isnt even needed given how quiet footsteps already are. im certain 3arc will tweak these perks as they currently both are pointless.

Wow. I don't know what to think. I have a headset, but I kind of like this. If they really are that silent, maybe the game will be played a little different. We'll have to see if Treyarch does any tweaks, but the way you guys are saying it is, I'm not gonna complain. But if there ever are any tweaks, I won't mind. Just DO NOT fuck it up like IW did.
