Gun is not overpowered, they cant change the mechanics of the gun, like in MW3 that gun is OP! They have balanced the gun by reducing its damage this is so you dont get a long range kill, you may need 1 extra bullet to confirm a kill, unlike in MW3 4 bullets is a kill from a range of across the map, BO2 4-5 bullets is kill from long range, depending on which area of the body you shoot for. it is well balanced out.

I think Treyarch have done a good job for once!

I wouldn't say it's overpowered, I've seen vids of people using it at long range and getting 5-6 hitmarkers on a guy without killing him. Besides from the looks of it the MSMC and Skorpion Evo III will be the most used SMGS.

like I said in my previous comment, they reduced the damage, the fire rate and recoil and sway are the same as mw3.

From a Tmartin video he mentioned the MP7 being one of the worst SMGs in Black Ops 2.

Also, outside of the MP40 in W@W and maybe FAMAS/74u calling guns "overpowered" especially before playing the game is one of the scrubbiest complaints/excuses.

People questioned if MP5 or UMP in MW3 was too OP around this same time last year.

I honestly don't see why some of you even play online with such low confidence. If you can't combat a weapon, learn how to use a comparable weapon or keep a midrange-long rang approach or to drop shot, be more aware or just use the gun your damn self.
And worst of all it can be confirmed the gun isn't like it was in MW3.

What gun wouldn't look "op" vs combat training? Perception sometimes is reality. Stop seeing yourself as the dude getting killed and see yourself as the guy tearing shit up.


I am no MarkofJ, Sandy Ravage or Seannaners but instead of pissing my pants in fear of what gun or perk will be "op", I tend to think about getting C4 kills, Attack Dogs and multikills with Lonestars and Warthogs. Thinking about owning the enemy and stop being scary bro.

I have seen people shooting it at a distance and you get ridiculous amount of hitmarkers. The scorpion is ment to be the most powerful gun. I can't remember but optic heczs got his today and he had a list of the most powerful guns and mp7 was not up there.

A lot of the SMGs were decent but there wasn't really 1 which stood out from the rest.
It's a good gun and I used it my first couple games, but there are other SMGs which are just as good

i understand what your trying to say but that isnt the ONLY powerful gun in that game, its always going to balanced in different ways. if people complain about everything and then they lower the guns it will just end up like another shitty mw3.

Overpowered? The game's unbalanced if you ask me, Treyarch purposely made the game unbalanced and for some reasons, people still buys it, then they slowly fix their game. I don't get it though, if companies like Activision publish overpowered/unbalanced games, why do people still buy it, it's just the same shit but new features are added. The game is basically revamped.
