I've gone to the last 5 CoD midnight releases and I want to share my tips with you guys.

1. MAKE SURE TO GET THERE AROUND 6 PM. The gamestop employees will give you a ticket (if you pre-ordered) that has a number on it. That number is the order in line you will be.

2. Have food ready at home. You'll regret it if you don't

3. Take a nap until you are ready.

4. Take something to entertain yourself. I use my phone and text the hoes

5. Get ready for a lot of talking. For some odd reason, people kept on walking up to me last year and starting conversations with me.

6. Fuck bitches, get money, play Black Ops 2

my plan:
get there ~12:30
wait in queue for 1-2mins
take game home
play
much less fucking around that way.

^ Well I called them today and they told to go at 9pm, pay rest of balance and then the line will move smoother.

I did Madden 13(sold that trash 5 days after) release and we waited in line, paid at 11pm then it took only 5 minutes after 12 to be out

Obviously this release is 5x as big but they assured me they are starting to finalize things at 9
Hoping everyone is civil especially since I paid half my hardened edition costs.

Gamestop's preorders don't seem to lock in your copy though. I doubt they can give everyone their games that preorder but we'll see

if you live in a big city plan on getting there at around 5 to get ticket at 6 its worth it if your doing midnight release
last year i got there at 6:30 and waited 2+ hours and then 20 min after 12 i rather get in line for 1 hour and not have to wait at all at 12

The 9 PM thing is BS. Last year, I went at 7 and I was number 15. They told me to go at 9 but I decided to go early.

i only went for the first black ops, went at about 11:30pm there was about 300 people i was out the door by 12:10. this year ill just wait till i wake up tuesday and go get it im not that hard up to play a game that i cant wait a couple hours

Damn. Midnight release is to crazy for me. Ill just wait a few more hours and get it later in the day.

If you could do the midnight release, I highly recommend doing it. Its really exciting and its a good way to have fun in my opinion. Theres just something about it <3

Midnight releases have never appealed to me in any way. I always wait until later to buy the game. I like my sleep.
