Because I will get trophies and the trophy time stamps will be before the release date? Also when the game releases and I go online will I get banned?

if you are signed and play the campaign, yes you will be banned! it happened to me!

I've played and finished the campaign and I believe that I'm not banned. Did you go from Campaign to Multiplayer because the minute you access multiplayer that's when you get banned if you have a ripped backup.

Hello! I tested this on 3 different accounts ...
if you sign and play the campaign mode, a message will appear saying that Black ops servers are down ...
that without trying to get into the multiplayer, campaign mode only.
My backup is BLES01717 DUPLEX :mad:

I've never gotten that message yet when playing Campaign and I'm using the same game too. Honestly they way they're banning people is dumb it's so inconsistent from one person to the next. I'll be finding out later today if I'm banned or not when I pick up my legit copy. I'm just hoping it's glitched or some shit.

You can possibly be banned for this yes. I would reccommend not being signed in online
